BVIMIT Convocation Ceremony :( Batch 2021-23 ) on 20th April 2024

The Annual Degree distribution ceremony for MCA batch 2021-23 of Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Management & Information Technology was held in its very own permanent Campus on 24th April 2024. The chief guest Mr. Preetam Sanil Managing Director Zodiac Hr Consultants India Pvt. Ltd and Mr. Binit Singh General Manager Zodiac Hr. Consultants India Pvt. Ltd, was felicitated by our Principal Dr. Suhasini Vijaykumar who then gave the review of the institutional progress in academics and co-curricular activities. The ceremony began with lightning the lamp by the dignitaries and then followed by distributing the degrees to top3 merit holders of the batches namely Ms Vasudha Arora ,Ms.Bharati Behra & Mr.Mayur Bhujbal. .Also, appreciation certificated was awarded to the students who topped in the subject Seminar of Sem IV .The function was addressed by chief guest who inspired the students for their future career and prospects . This year a total of 135 MCA students were awarded with the degrees and the ceremony was concluded with national anthem and a group photograph of our graduated students.

Mime performance - Theme “Women Empowerment” Occasion International Women's Day 2024

WDC (Women Development Cell) BVIMIT, organized Mime performance - Theme “Women Empowerment” on the occasion International Women's Day (8th March) celebrated on March 11th, 2024. On the occasion of Women’s Day students from MCA Sem 1 participated in the mime. The ‘Mime’ highlighted the status of women in Indian society and focused on the violence they face at home and outside in the forms of domestic violence, eve-teasing, and rape, to name a few. The gender discrimination still holding too many women back, holds our world back too. Mime performance put the emphasis on holding the hands together for a better future. All the participants felicitated with appreciation certificate by principal Dr Suhasini Vijaykumar and Vice Principal Dr Jyoti Kharade in the end. The event was organised by Women Development Cell members Dr Pratibha Deshmukh and Prof. Nidhi Poonia.

Viksit Bharat@2047: Voice of Youth (MIC Driven Activity)

India’s Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched a major initiative called ‘Viksit Bharat@20247’ on 11th December, 2023 at 10:15 a.m. The IIC of BVIMIT organized a live telecast of the Viksit Bharat@20247 event at various classrooms so that participants watched the event live by joining in the Hybrid mode. The session began with Welcome / Introductory Remarks by Cabinet Secretary, Launch of Viksit Bharat @2047 Ideas Portal by Hon’ble PM and a Special Address by Hon’ble Prime Minister. 137 students and 13 faculty members participated in this event. Key Outcome: The live telecast increased awareness about the ‘Viksit Bharat@2047 initiative, fostering a deeper understanding of its goals among faculty and students. With 13 faculty members and 35 students actively engaged, the event showcased a significant level of interest and commitment towards contributing to India’s development by 2047.

Parents –Teacher Meeting AY- 2023-24

Parent Teachers Meeting for classes MCA Sem 1 and MCA Sem III was conducted on 28th October 2023 from 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM. The parents were intimated through the student official groups as well as parents group well in advance through class teachers and mentors. 25 parents of MCA Sem I and 11 parents of MCA Sem III students attended this meeting. The meeting was addressed by Dr. Suhasini Vijaykumar (Principal of MCA Dept). Wherein importance of student’s attendance in the class was briefly discussed. Parents were also requested to keep in touch with the class coordinators for their wards progress. Interaction between Parents, Class Teachers, Subject Teachers and Mentors was done. There was a discussion on student’s performance in individual subjects, students discipline in classrooms and their attendance percentage. Parents was happy with the way the department was conducting academically and was very satisfied with the performance of their wards. One parent also enquired what kind of placement arrangements are done for their ward. At last, the parents filled the feedback form and expressed their views. Following are the views and suggestion given by parents.
Positive Feedback:
• Parents praised the faculty and were happy about their wards Progress.
• Some Parents were happy with the work of class coordinators and mentors.
Suggestions:
• Encourage students to become successful entrepreneur and organize the lecture of successful personalities.

MCA SEM I ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (2023-24)

MCA Sem-I orientation programme was held on 12th & 13th Sept. 2023. The purpose behind the orientation programme was to make the students aware about the academics and industry. The programme was inaugurated and welcomed by Dr. Suhasini Vijaykumar, Principal, Dr. Pratibha Deshmukh and Ms. Gunjan Behl Coordinator MCA sem I, BVIMIT, Navi Mumbai. The programme continued with a warm welcome to the fresher’s and introduced students to Bharati Family. She also gave a brief introduction about the curriculum, the institute, discipline, exams, class code of conduct and all other related issues. The first day of orientation 12th Sept. 2023 has the following sessions: The session 1 stared with industry interaction. Mr. Saurabh Sihna, Founder & Managing Partner REIN Labs & Contexio. interacted with students on recent trends in IT Industries. The session 2 was started with Mr. Kiran Salunkhe and their team delivered a lecture on Human Value. They interacted with the students and spoked on “true gift to the humanity “. The session 3 was conducted by Dr. Hinduja Iruthayarajan, Senior Registrar at Emergency Dept. Apolla Hospital, Navi Mumbai, who has given training to the students on First Aid and Basic Life Support. She had given the demonstration on how to safe human life and how to handle the situation during the heart attack. The second day of orientation 13th Sept. 2023 has the following sessions: The session 1 started with interaction with Placement Officer Prof. Manish Dubey and Prof. Sudeshna Roy. They discussed about BVIMIT placement activity and aptitude and interview preparation methods. The panel discussion was also conducted by alumni and placed students of final year. The session 2 was conducted by internal faculty members on the topics Syllabus discussion, examination, MOOC, ISR and IIC. Dr. Jyoti Kharade Vice Principal, Prof. Shravani Pawar Examination Coordinator, Dr. Shambhu Rai ISR Coordinator, Dr. Pratibha Deshmukh MOOC Coordinator and Dr. Kirti Muley IIC Cooridinator addressed the students on various procedures and methodology required for their courses. During post lunch session 3 Caption Devesh Kumar addressed the students on Personality Development which would be helpful for them in future. The next session 4 was conducted by Ms. Arati Agrawal, Director, VocSkills Pvt. Ltd. delivered on Digital Marketing where students can be benefited from the various channels of social media. She also focused on trending technology and prospects in IT industires. The last session was conducted by Dr. SaluShubham Keni Physiotherapy Specialist Appollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai, on importance’s of Posture and Ergonomics

Elocution Competition Theme: Entrepreneur/ Innovation/ Startup

To acknowledge entrepreneurship and individuals becoming entrepreneurs across the world, August 21 is celebrated as 'World Entrepreneurs Day' every year. The day celebrates the role played by businessmen in creating employment opportunities and nurturing economic development across various industries globally. Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Management and Information Technology, Navi Mumbai organized Elocution competition. Elocution competition was conducted on 21th August 2023. Students were asked to pick a topic according to theme. Every participant was given precisely 5 minute to prepare the speech on selected topic. It was indeed astounding to see how beautifully students had put their thoughts, insights, humor and delivered the speech of consciousness which was fluent, erudite and articulate while being unscripted. 13 students from MCA Sem 3 participated. The parameter for the judgement was content, fluency, confidence and presentation. The finalists’ displayed oratory skill with zeal and enthusiasm. The competition was culminated with a few words of encouragement by judges and principal. Total Number of Registration: 13 The event was scheduled during 'World Entrepreneurs Day 2023.  On Monday 21-08-2023 Elocution competition contest was held.  Winners: Prathmesh Pradhan  Judges for the event: 1. Freshers 2023-24

Fresher’s party was organized on 30th September 2024 party for the students of MCA AY 2023-25. The event was organized in the Hotel Management Auditorium from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. The students of second year organized various games and dance performances for the fresher’s. At the Mr. and Miss Fresher’s were declared and were felicitated by the Principal and Faculty Members.

Satyanarayan Pooja

BVIMIT organized “Satyanarayan Pooja” in college premises on Saturday, 9th September 2023 at 10 a.m. Satyanarayan puja is dedicated to Lord Satyanarayan, one of the form of Lord Vishnu. Satya signifies the truth and Narayan means the higher self. All the staff members & students were celebrated the Satyanarayan Pooja with much excitement and in the end holy Prasad was distributed to all.

Teacher’s Day 2023

On the occasion of the Birthday of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan’s Teacher’s day celebration was conducted at Bharti Vidyapeeth campus, Navi Mumbai. To mark the great Teacher & Philosophyist, Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan’s Birthday, Teacher’s Day was observed and celebrated at BVIMIT on September 05, 2023. at Conference Room. All the staff members of MCA department gathered joyfully for the celebration of the event. The Principal Dr. Suhasini VijayKumar enlightened with her speech about the significance of the function to show respect to our Gurus who dispel darkness and ignorance around us. She distributed a flower and token of gift to all the teaching staff members.

On 21st June 2023 “International Yoga day” was celebrated in our Bharati Vidyapeeth Navi Mumbai Educational Complex at 9:00 a.m. All the teaching and non teaching staff had participated in the ‘International Yoga day’. The trainer from Shri Ambika Yoga Kutir had given us his valuable guidance. The exercises are good and useful to the staff. It’s a very interesting and energetic Day for all of us.

International Women’s Day 2023

Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Management & Information Technology (BVIMIT) Women’s Development Cell on occasion of International Women's Day conducted session on “Free Health Check-up camp” on 8th March 2023 for Teaching and non-teaching staff in association with Apollo Hospital Navi Mumbai. In the camp RBS (Random Blood Sugar), Blood PRESSURE, BMD (Bone Mineral density), BCA and doctor consultation was organized. Dr. Suhasini Vijaykumar Principal, BVIMIT has delivered the speech on women’s day and theme of speech was gender equality and equity. Women staff participated in various cultural activities and snacks and sweets were distributed to the entire participant in the end.

The National Youth Festival in India is an annual gathering of youth with various competitive and collaborative activities. Celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of youth icon Swami Vivekananda, it is organized by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India in collaboration with one of the State Governments. Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Management and Information Technology, Navi Mumbai organized Green Beauty On Monday 10-01-2023 in BVIMIT On the occasion of the Birthday of our Founder Honourable Dr. Patangrao Kadam & National Youth Day Green Beauty competition to spread awareness amongst the students about the various issues those are being faced by our planet regarding our environment and to foster an eco-friendly environment in the college campus.

Nasha Mukti

Bharati Vidyapeeth’s IMIT organized a talk on Nasha Mukti on 14th January 2023 from 10 AM. The main objective of this program is to Gear UP! Destress, Detox, Discover the youth in life. The talk is about how to handle the stress of our day to day life. It also focuses on the importance of the meditation, through which one can detox his/ her life. Dr. Munishree Abhijeet Kumarji and Munishri Jagrit Kumarji were the speakers for the talk, who enlighten the audience with their knowledge and experience.

Free health check camp & BLS & First AID training

BVIMIT, Navi Mumbai IQAC and Women Development Cell organized free health check camp on Saturday 11th June 2022 in association with Apollo Hospital Navi Mumbai . In the session BLS & First AID training was given to the faculties, non teaching staff and students by Dr. Jaspreet Singh. BLS course trained the participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Session highlights was: High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components and important early use of an AED. In the camp RBS (Random Blood Sugar), Blood PRESSURE, BMD(Bone Mineral density), Eye Checkup and doctor consultation was organized. All teaching, non teaching staff and students from bharati navi Mumbai belapur campus took benefit of the camp.

BVIMIT organized e-Alumni Meet MILAN 2021 graced by IDBI Intech Limited. After a gap of two year Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Management and Information Technology, BVIMIT observed Online Virtual Alumni Meet connecting Alumni from across the globe. It was a sense of nostalgia as the alumni connected with their batchmates over online virtual platform. The MCA student’s of BVIMIT celebrated International Women’s Day on 7th March 2020 in the college premise. Dr. Suhasini VijayKumar, (Principal), addressed the audience with an introduction on the importance of Women’s Day where she brief about focusing on women-centric developments, this day also emphasizes on the importance of gender equality. International Women’s Day has assumed a new global dimension for women in developed and developing countries alike. The Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at BVIMIT on 26th January 2020. The students and faculty members saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is “ India”.The choir group presented the patriotic song , It was followed by a beautiful skit on traffic rules & girl’s security.

On 16th Jan 2020, Bharati Vidyapeeths IMIT has been organized the event Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon 2020. Five teams were participated & presented ideas by creating prototype synoptic for selected problem statement. All team members have given participation certificate. A Best Costume Competition was held on 4th Oct 2019. A competition where participants in their best traditional attire were tasked to flaunt and describe the tradition they represent. Rangoli Competition

A Rangoli Competition was held on 3rd Oct 2019. A freestyle rangoli competition was held on day 3 of competition week wherein participants were instructed to make any rangoli without any help of a picture or aid. They were allotted a space floor to draw and were allowed to draw any design or concept of choice. Poster Making

A Poster Making was held on 1st Oct 2019 A theme based poster making competition based on Indian festival celebrating the diverse cultures was held wherein the participants were allowed to bring home made posters for an exhibition with explanation and the one with the best poster and best description wins. Web Designing Competition

A Web Designing Competition was held on 30th sept 2019 to encourage the students by giving them a chance to compete in web designing. "Cultural Week" 2019

Cultural week was celebrated from 30th Sept to 4th October 2019. Following event were scheduled On Monday 30/09/2019 Garba event was celebrated For all MCA student between 4.00pm -6.00pm.
On Tuesday 1/10/2019 Mis-Match Day was celebrated.
On Thursday 3/10/2019 Group Alike/Twin Day was celebrated.
On Friday 4/10/2019 Traditional Day was celebrated.

Freshers 2019-2020

On 24th of September 2019 BVIMIT organized freshers party for the students of MCA AY 2019-20. The event was organized in the Hotel Management Auditorium from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. The students of second year organized various games and dance performances for the freshers. At the Mr. and Miss Freshers were declared and were felicitated by the Principal and Faculty Members.

Teacher’s Day 2019-20

To mark the great Teacher & Philosophyist, Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan’s Birthday, Teacher’s Day was observed and celebrated at BVIMIT on September 05, 2019 at 4.00 p.m. at Conference Room. All the staff members of MCA department gathered joyfully for the celebration of the event. The Incharge Principal Dr. Suhasini VijayKumar enlightened with her speech about the significance of the function to show respect to our Gurus who dispel darkness and ignorance around us. She distributed a flower and token of gift to all the teaching staff members which was followed by a small tea party.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2019-20

Orientation program is conducted for the MCA I year students from 8-10 August 2019. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Suhasini Vijaykumar, I/C Principal, BVIMIT, Navi Mumbai. Dr. Suhasini Vijaykumar elaborate the Vision & Mission of the institute, also brief about Pos and Cos.Dr. Prachi Murkute on Ice Breaking and Industry Needs from Budding Manager Prof. Manish Dubey on importance of communication. On the next day i.e. 9/8/2019, Mr. Harpreet Singh starts the session by introducing students to the activities of Incubation center of the institute. Indoor sports were conducted for new students in post lunch sessions. On third and final day, a session named “College ki Gapshap” was conducted where Prof. Vikrant Gharat interacts with alumni and final year (placed) students. Next session was conducted by Prof. Manish Dubey to introduce students about the Placement process of the institute.

Session on “Hemoglobin Prevalence & Knowledge” -

Women Development Cell of BVIMIT organized an interactive session on “Hemoglobin Prevalence & Knowledge” on 19-Jul-2019 for female staff members where Mrs. Chitra Polekar, M.Sc Nursing from BV College of Nursing give awareness regarding Anemia in female. Anemia is a condition in which levels of hemoglobin, hematocrit, and erythrocytes fall below the normal range was given. It was discussed how increasing the intake of iron-rich foods (eggs, spinach, artichokes, beans, lean meats, jaggery, peanuts and seafood) and foods rich in cofactors (such as vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin B12, and vitamin C) important for maintaining normal hemoglobin levels. In the end, iron test was taken by Mrs. Chitra Polekar . She has advised that the normal range for hemoglobin should be maintained in between, 12.0 to 15.5 grams per deciliter for the age group above 35.

FAREWELL PARTY 2019 -

BVIMIT organized farewell party for the MCA final year students Batch (2016-19) on 5th July 2019 from 2.00 p.m .-05:00 p.m at the college campus. The outgoing students looked gorgeous in their attires and the juniors welcomed their seniors and entertained them with a medley of western songs and dance performances on popular Bollywood numbers. This was followed by a host of engrossing games and a short PPT presentation of their best moments in college life and as a token of appreciation for the teachers. Students were also given awards in the following categories- Highest Stipend; Albert Einstein Award; 1st Placed etc... The moment was nostalgic as the outgoing batch cut a special large cake with their teachers.

Convocation for MCA batch 2015-16 -

The Annual Convocation for MCA batch 2015-16 of BVIMIT was held on 2nd March 2019. The ceremony began with lightning the lamp by the dignitaries and then followed by Bharati Vidyapeeth’s anthem sung by the students of the Institute. The chief guest Mr. Ritesh Bhatia cybercrime investigator, founder director of V4WEB Cyber security, guest of honour Dr.Anlaji Kalse Director, BVIMSR was felicitated by our Principal Dr.Suhasini Vijaykumar who then gave the review of the institutional progress in academics and co-curricular activities. The top3 merit holders of the batch were felicitated by the dignitaries and then the function was addressed by chief guest who inspired the students for their future career and prospects and felicitated the top three merit holders of the MCA batch This year a total of 69 MCA students were awarded with the degrees and the ceremony was concluded with national anthem and a group photograph of our graduated students

MANTHAN

A two day technical fest “MANTHAN 2018” was conducted for IT and Non IT Events. The annual technical festival is a rendezvous of the students of all IT colleges in and around Mumbai and Navi Mumbai joining together to explore and visualize the plethora of knowledge for creating the splendor in wisdom and excitement, mixing knowledge with fun. This inter-collegiate competition tests the skills and hones the competencies of young techies through various IT-Technical, Indoor and Outdoor Sport events. The event was inaugurated by Dr. V.J Kadam, Campus Director, Bharti Vidyapeeth, Navi Mumbai on 23rd January 2018. About 80 colleges were invited in and around Mumbai and we got a startling response from these colleges. The event was closed on 24th January 2018 with the prize distribution ceremony. The event was financially supported by the different sponsors.

MILAN

“Milan” our first alumni meet was organized on 3rd March 2018. We had active participation from our alumni.There was overwhelming response from our alumni for helping us in project & final placement of our students In the evening we had arranged a cultural program. The guest of Honour for evening was Dr Vilasrao Kadam ,Campus Director ,Bharati Vidyapeeth Educational complex. The students of MCA first and second year presented their talents such as singing, dancing, etc. They presented a very nice slide show of our alumni showing their college life. It was followed by delicious Snacks. Along with fun and frolic students learned important lessons of team work, managing people, some leadership qualities etc. To sum up the event was a great success in both essence and spirit.
